Butterfy Blues

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  It has been a couple of days since I last posted - it is not that I have not been creating, as I certainly have -  I am trying to get through all of  Decembers deadlines by the end of this month so I can enjoy the whole lead up to Christmas - especially with our Grandson being 2 1/2 years old and more aware this year than the previous years - he announced very excitedly to his Mummy "I am excited" and when asked what about he said "for Santa!"

But in the meantime I have a card to share with you - using layered Spellbinders Dies - they always add such a pretty look!  The beautiful filigree frame has been created using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Forty-One Etched Dies and Labels Forty-One Decorative Accents using white and soft blue card stock.  The card base and front has been cut using the Card Creator Emmeline Treillage Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and patterned card stock from DCWV.  All Dies have been cut/embossed using the  Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform

The next layer has been cut/embossed using the Labels Thirty-Nine Spellbinders® Nestabilities® and Authentique Paper.  This has been lightly sanded around the embossed edges and popped up onto the card front - using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The beautiful butterfly has been fussy cut/ hand cut using scissors from the Kaisercraft All that Glitters Collection - Dazzle .  It has been popped up onto the centre of the layered card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and a Want2Scrap brad added to the centre, along with Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Border by Nina Brackett - Endless Waves added along the lower edge of the card front.

Finishing off with a double Seam Binding bow and a sticker sentiment.
